
The Our Part for the Whole Initiative is selecting actions that contribute to reducing the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on communities
One of the largest food companies in the world, this year BRF launched the Our Part for the Whole Fund through the BRF Institute, which selects and invests resources in initiatives that contribute to reducing the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic in the communities where the company is present. On one of the fronts, Education and Technological Inclusion, interested institutions have until 6 pm on April 16 to participate in the selection, as per the notice.
Non-profit Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), governed by private law, including cooperatives, registered for at least 2 years, City Halls, State Governments and other public institutions or municipal and state authorities belonging to or operating in any municipality on the list of execution sites, and for-profit hospitals registered for at least 2 years whose proposals registered in this notice involve only activities and/or free care by the public health care network may participate.
Proposals must be implemented and/or include at least one of the following municipalities in 10 States:
Goiás - Buriti Alegre, Jataí, Mineiros and Rio Verde
Mato Grosso - Lucas do Rio Verde and Nova Mutum
Mato Grosso do Sul - Dourados
Minas Gerais - Uberlândia
Paraná - Carambeí, Dois Vizinhos, Francisco Beltrão, Paranaguá, Ponta Grossa and Toledo
Pernambuco - Vitória de Santo Antão
Rio de Janeiro - Seropédica
Rio Grande do Sul - Lajeado, Marau and Serafina Corrêa
São Paulo - Tatuí
Santa Catarina - Campos Novos, Capinzal, Chapecó, Concórdia, Herval D'oeste and Videira
In addition to Education and Technological Inclusion, the project works with other topics recurring to the pandemic and has three other fronts: Health and Emergency Actions; Generation of Work and Income; and Food Security and Social Protection. Each one has different registration deadlines and maximum amounts per project that can be checked in the notice for registration.
